ACPO Freedom of Information 2006

This important conference was held in January 2006 and was aimed at all FOI Managers and Department Heads working within the criminal justice arena and other statutory bodies subject to the legislation.

The focus of the day was on the lessons learnt in the first year of compliance under the Act, including experiences, good practice and decisions of the Information Commissioners Office. The conference explored the perspectives of practitioners, regulators and main users of the Act. With invaluable input from two international speakers, the conference also addressed the likely future impact that the Act may have.

ACPO used the experience of CJS Event Solutions to run a conference, that was praised by delegates for its smoothness and efficiency.
